Description

Superb mid 18th.c. French oak dresser base c.1760. Three plank top with a simple moulded edge over three drawers and a two door cupboard fitted with a single shelf. A fine example of the form, very heavily constructed in solid oak throughout. Lovely moulded drawer fronts and shaped, raised and fielded panelled doors, canted corners and a deep base moulding. Original decorative brass mounts. Excellent colour and condition, simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
