Farmhouse Table Very Long & Wide 3.5 Meters

Description

An impressive and unique chestnut farmhouse table. Made from a single plank of chestnut - it's unusual to come across something of this size as an entire piece.

The table has come directly from a manor house in the french region of Finistere, Brittany. The tree was cut down in 1879 and the timber then left to season for 9 years before being made. With a stunning grain and remarkable colour the large overhang will easily seat 14 - 16 and has been in the same house for the past 140 years. A statement piece!
