Small Georgian Mahogany Bow Front Chest of Drawers

Description

A beautiful mahogany chest of drawers with an attractive bow front, dating from the early 19th Century. It is a good small size, set on traditional bracket feet with two short over two long drawers with turned wooden knobs.

It is in excellent original condition and is a sturdy piece that has been well made and well looked after. The drawers are generally clean and tidy and all run well. It as a wonderful warm colour with a rich patina. It is not without a few small surface marks and knocks but only as to be expected with a piece of this age. The back is strong and sturdy and free from any signs of worm. Overall a lovely piece that displays beautifully
