The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, Marquis grade, which is working nicely.
The movement is fully signed and the serial number 21,329,696 dates it back to 1917. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover (which has some unevenness).

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case backs for Birmingham 1922, with a maker's mark for the Dennison Watch Case Company. The discrepancy in dates suggests that the movement and case are not original to each other, although Dennison made the majority of the cases for Waltham UK. The front of the case is in good condition, just minor marking. The back has unevenness.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in very nice condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
