Superb Pair Antique Edwardian Burr Walnut Single Bedsteads C1900

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a superb pair antique burr walnut single bedsteads and dating from aorund 1900. The headboards are quartered burr walnut veneered and they have a lovely serpentine shaped top with central carved shell crest to teh top. The footboards have a single panel with curved and carved corner posts and stand on elegant cabriole legs with a pad foot. They have their original screw in side irons.

A lovely pair of bedsteads in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the beautiful walnut.

Each bed measures; 53" high to headboard X 26" high to foor posts X 82" long X 36" wide

Each bed takes a standard single matress.
