Antique Early Victorian Carved Oak Open Bookcase C1840

Description

This is a lovely antique early victorian carved oak open bookcase in the jacobean/early georgian style and dating from aorund 1840. It has a carved lozenge top and is extensively carved to the top, sides and shelves with incised carving to the original oak back boards. It has two fixed shelves and it stands on turned bun feet.

A very nice early victorian country oak bookcase with a lovely colour and patination to the oak. It measures:

46" high X 13" deep X 46" wide

Height between shelves 13" X 11" deep
