The rear of the seat is engraved with the maker's initials 'F.W.'
It is approximately 31" (79cm) high. The seat is 19" (49cm) deep and it is 26" (66cm) wide across the arms.
It is in good condition and is a strong and sturdy chair. It has developed a nice aged patina over the years and there are signs that it may have been painted at one time which has now been stripped off. The chair is not without a few small marks and signs of age and use but no major damages and nothing detrimental. The grain is wonderful and it has been cleaned and lightly polished and it displays very nicely.
