Hingstons of Wilton has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
This Continental amboyna and inlaid display cabinet was made circa 1880.

This style of cabinet is perfect for displaying your precious items, as the front and sides are full glass panels edged with brass mouldings and so there are no obstructions to obscure viewing the items inside.

The single door opens to allow you to gain access to the interior where you have 3 plate glass shelves. The interior has also been relined by our own craftsman in a ivory moire material.
The cabinet stands on tapering square legs and finishing with a brass ball as a small foot.

Imagine how good this will look in your home once you have filled it with your items, it would also be a superb display unit to be used in a top end retail setting.
This display cabinet has the Hingstons Antiques peace of mind brand plate that guarantees that this is to the standard to be allowed into our stock.
