The chair dates from around 1880, the fabric is in muted colours with a central urn overflowing with fruit and flowers

The chair has beautifully shaped shepherds crook arms and legs with acanthus carving, matching the broad front stretcher, the bottom stretchers are a beautifully twisted barley twist
The seats and chair backs are brass studied and sprung, they are sound the upholstery is sound with a slightly faded look

The chair backs are 44” high, the front is 27” wide, 25” deep
