In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
It has been well made and well looked after and is in good condition. The brass drop handles have been changed and are not original, however look in-keeping with the piece. There are some minor signs of historic woodworm around the back but that hasn't affected the table aesthetically or structurally. There is a small repair to one foot but otherwise no major damages. It obviously has some signs of age and use but nothing detrimental and it is strong and sturdy and displays very nicely.
