The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The watch has a stem-winding movement, Traveler grade, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 11973595 dates it back to 1902. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Empress model made by the American Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marks form use but overall it is in nice condition for a 1902 watch.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is a glass lens which is in nice condition.
The signed dial has a few faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
