The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is a grade 625 working well. It is fully signed and the serial number 16877746 dates it back to 1908. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case backs for Birmingham 1927, with a maker's mark for Aaron Dennison, a prolific case manufacturer who supplied cases for many Waltham pocket watches. The movement has been replaced at some stage of its life although it is correct for its case The case is in nice condition with only light surface marking from use.

The watch glass is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.
The signed dial has a faint hairline crack at 8 o.clock but it is difficult to see with the naked eye.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
