Pretty Antique English Sterling Silver Purse - 1919

Description

This beautifully shaped purse with it's simplistic design creates a really elegant example.

Made from English sterling silver including the chain and finger ring, it is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1919; the makers initials are also present for the silversmith, E J Houlston.

The catch to the top is pushed to open the purse, a strong catch in perfect working order and snaps firmly shut. The interior reveals the original leather triple compartment interior.

Excellent condition measuring 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" x 1 1/8" and 7 1/4" including the chain.
