This antique Swedish leather Chaise Lounge is an extremely stylish & stunning looking piece. The original leather is hand stitched & hand tacked onto the frame. I don’t know if you can see the tacks clearly enough, maybe with enlargement, but they are all exquisitely embossed. This Chaise lounge is very much Regency in design & is definitely antique 19th century. It’s hard to be accurate with Swedish furniture dates, so it could be from the 1830’s or possibly a bit later. Either way the frame is magnificent & solid walnut with reeded edges & fluted legs. There is one small cut out underneath it under the larger end, but this can’t be seen unless you turn it over. I love the way the frame curves around on both ends with the two leather bolsters. It’s quite long, so please check the measurements.
