The watch has a stem-winding movement , grade 313, which is working well. The movement is signed with the Elgin name and the serial number 29239546 dates it back to 1927.
The watch measures 50.3mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and is the Fortune model made by the American Watch Case Co. It has a screw-on bezel and back, another good sign of quality.

The glass lens is in nice condition with only a small nibble to the outer edge at the bottom although hardly noticeable to the naked eye.
The signed dial is in very nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
