This is heavy and Sturdy piece but very moveable as it is set on ceramic castors, the easel, raises and lowers, the angle tilts and it has a levelling adjustment

The raising and tilting is operated by two separate winding mechanisms, the height raises through from 6 feet to about 12 feet, below the picture rest there is a small fall front compartment for equipment,

The easel has a brass grip to hold a picture from the top and there is a brass label on the front G Gent Patentee, 59 Bayswater Road, the handle for opening the brush compartment is damaged but it works well

The picture shown on the easel is 47” high, 61” wide and 1 3/4” in depth
The easel is between 6 and 12 feet in height, 29” wide and 30” deep at floor level
