The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
They sold Swiss watches under their own name with Renown watches being their most successful range. They also sold many of the de-commissioned military watches to civilians.

This particular watch has a Swiss FHF 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Bravingtons Renown.
The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the onion winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Glasgow 1929 and a case maker's mark for François Borgel, a pioneer of early dustproof and moisture proof watches. That said, this watch must be kept away from water.

The case has some unevenness to the back but otherwise is in good condition.
The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The signed textured dial is in good original condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
A later leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
