Description

The watch has a signed Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 28mm wide excluding the winding crown and 28mm high excluding the lugs. It would suit a man with a slimmer wrist or it would work nicely as a larger watch for a lady. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Chester 1930. The back of the watch has a 1931 inscription. Overall the case is in good condition, particularly for such an early piece, there is just one bruise to the front, just above number 11.

The lens is in good condition.

The textured dial has darkened with age but otherwise is in good condition.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
