A Good Mahogany Inlaid Edwardian Period Pedestal Desk

Description

A good mahogany inlaid Edwardian Period pedestal desk. Having a mahogany rectangular top banded in satinwood and with an inset red leather writing surface with gilt tooled detail. With an arrangement of nine oak lined drawers with flamed mahogany fronts, banded in satinwood and with traditional pierced brass back plates and swan neck handles. Supported on shaped bracket feet and with solid mahogany sides. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 48" wide x 23" deep x 31.5" high (knee hole 21" wide x 24" high)

Condition: This desk is in excellent original condition, a lovely colour and patina
