A generously proportioned William IV Regency mahogany elbow chair with carved scroll arms sat on swept sabre legs to the rear, and baluster turned legs at the front.
 
This attractive piece of furniture offers classic style and huge character while being presented in excellent condition. The wood has both a rich patina and lovely grain. The seat is covered in a quality grey fabric, there is a minor sewing repair that has been carried out to the upholstery that is almost unnoticeable, please see photos. The seat has been filled with wadding rather than having a sprung base.
 
A very unusual chair in both size and design. A versatile English chair which will make a lovely addition to any location. Rare in this configuration with timeless appeal.
