Lovely antique georgian country oak peg joined side desk chair c1780

A lovely george 111 country oak side or desk chair and dating from around 1780. Constructed from solid oak it has a squared frame with reeded vertical back splats and beautifully shaped curved armrests on curved supports. It has a plank seat and squared legs joined by squared stretchers.

It is hand and peg joined.

A lovely hall or desk chair in very good condition and oozes the charm and character of the period in which it was made and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: 36" high X seat height 17" X 19" deep X 21" wide
