Antique Silver Revue Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique silver Revue pocket watch originally retailed by Stränger-Brader, Chemnitz, Germany.

The watch has a signed Revue stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver with rose gold wash detail. This style was known as galonne and it was particularly popular in the Scandinavian countries at the beginning of the 20th Century. The case is in good condition, just a few small marks but nothing serious. The rose gold wash is in remarkably good condition as this is often rubbed.

The acrylic lens and signed dial are both in very nice condition.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
