Lovely pair antique art nouveau mahogany salon tub armchairs c1890:

This is a lovely pair of antique art nouveau mahogany salon tub armchairs and dating from around 1890. They have a lovely deep rolled back and elbow rest above carved and pierced supports with shaped and reeded front supports leading to turned legs. They have a deep stuff over seat with original horsehair and springs and have at some stage been recovered beautifully with a quality pastel paisley fabric which just need a very slight clean.

This is a lovely pair of art nouveau antique mahogany chairs in very good condition and ooze the charm and character of the period in which made and now have a lovely colour and deep patination to the mahogany and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: gents chair: 29" high X seat height 16" X 26" deep X 25" wide
