Description

Very Attractive and Rare Narwal or Unicorn Tusk style Columns adorn the Hood to this late 18th Georgian Longcase Clock. The Painted Dial Signed D Oliver Wellington (Brian Loomes Is not aware of which one) and is decorated by a bird - probably a Tit. The false plate by Walker & Hughes and the back for the date Dial has an attractive flower petal design engraved in it.

The 30 Hour Movement has been checked, serviced and tested to be in Good Antique Working Condition - though the date hand is not working. Strikes the Hours on a Bell.
