The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a signed stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement serial number is underneath the dial, it reads 834,540 which dates it back to 1895.

The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover upon which are details of Grand Prix medals won at the 1889 Exposition Universelle of 1889, a world fair held in Paris, France, from 6 May to 31 October 1889.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The back of the watch is patterned, possibly incorporating initials, but the detail has rubbed over the years and there is a little unevenness.

The glass lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in lovely condition with pin-set ornate hands, popular in the Scandinavian countries at the beginning of the 20th Century, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
