Description

A gents silver Smiths De Luxe wrist watch, made in England, 1958.

The watch has a 16-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch itself measures 28.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 28.5mm high excluding the lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1958. The back of the watch has a long service inscription dated 1959. Both the case and the lens are in good condition.

The signed dial is in good condition with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. Originally there would have been paint in the numbers and the hands but this has been removed over the years.

A new leather strap has been fitted.
