A Superb Quality Mahogany & Marquetry Inlaid Bow Front Display Cabinet on Stand.

Description

A superb quality mahogany & marquetry inlaid bow front display cabinet on stand. The upper section with a moulded cornice above a ribbon and swag marquetry and pen-work inlaid frieze with twin bow front astragal glazed doors, opens to reveal a mahogany adjustable shelved interior with a silk lined back. The lower section again of bow front outline with a classical flaming urn and foliate inlaid panel with pen-work detail and a boxwood edge, above a mahogany bow front drawer with further fine marquetry and pen-work inlay, flanked by classical inlaid urns and with finely cast gilded knobs. Supported on square tapering supports with spade feet and united by a shaped mahogany under-tier. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 68" high x 19" deep x 30" wide

Condition: This cabinet is in superb condition, made by either Edwards & Roberts Of London or Maple & Co of London
