A Fine Quality Figured Walnut Edwardian Period Pedestal Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine quality figured walnut Edwardian Period pedestal desk. Having a solid walnut top of serpentine outline with a red gilt and blind tooled leather writing insert, above the three rectangular walnut lined drawers with Chippendale style pierced swan neck handles. With left and right handed serpentine cupboard doors opening to reveal three walnut internal drawers. Having panelled sides and reverse the whole supported on acanthus carved ogee feet. English circa 1900-1910

Dimensions: 62" wide x 34" deep x 31" high (knee hole 25" high x 25" wide)

Condition: This desk is in excellent condition
