Regency Rosewood Leather Top Drum Table C.1820.

Description

Beautiful Regency period rosewood and leather top drum table c.1820. Circular top of 44? diameter with a tooled burgundy leather centre within a broad rosewood border and a very unusual applied edge moulding. With a shallow apron below which contains three drawers, note how the grain of the veneers continues across the drawer fronts. Raised on a hexagonal column and tricorn plinth featuring shaped supports with scroll carving and acanthus leaf detail. On carved claw feet with original wooden castors. Fine quality with solid mahogany drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition with a new leather, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
