William IV Mahogany Combination Wardrobe & Press C.1830.

Description

William IV mahogany combination wardrobe and press cupboard c.1830. A little smaller than many we see, standing just 78½" tall. Two side pods for full length hanging (plus two loose shelves in the left hand pod) either side of a deeper central section with a two door cupboard top fitted with sliding shelves over a chest of two short and two long drawers. Superb flame mahogany veneers to the door panels and drawer fronts. Lovely original scroll carved frieze to the tops of the side pods and an applied detail above the arch panels. Original turned knobs. Solid mahogany sides and drawer linings, cedar wood slides. Excellent condition with original hooks, locks, latches etc. Cleaned and polished in our workshops. Keys supplied. Splits into four sections for delivery.
