A Fine Quality Gillows Mahogany Regency Period Library Chair

Description

A fine quality mahogany Regency Period library chair by Gillows of Lancaster. The deep buttoned back with rolled arms and finely carved knuckles, with a generous sprung seat. Supported on four finely turned and reeded supports with brass cup castors and four finely carved anthemions to the seat rail. Stamped to the seat rail. English circa 1820-1830

Dimensions: 42" high x 30" wide x 35" deep (seat height 18")

Condition: This chair is in excellent original condition, in need of re-upholstering which can be done at approx £200 in a fabric of your choice
