A Vintage 1930s Vertex Pocket Watch & Chain.

1920 - 1940
Description

A vintage 1930s Vertex pocket watch & chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, which is working well. The movement is stamped 15 jewels, Swiss made. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The chrome plated case has light surface marks from use and light wear and a couple of mild bruises to the back on the back but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The acrylic lens is in nice condition.

The signed dial has a couple of very faint hairline cracks although hardly noticeable to the naked eye.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

The watch comes on a vintage chrome plated double albert chain.

Each of the longer chains measure 19 cm including the T bar and clasp.

The watch & chain will be sent in a new presentation box.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
