The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The watch measures 21.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 33mm high excluding the lugs... the watch would suit someone with a slimmer wrist. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition.
The case is in good condition, as is the lens.

The dial has the extra large subsidiary seconds dial so the doctor can read it easily when timing pulse rates. The dial is in good condition, and has probably been re-finished at some stage in its life.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a vintage Mappin & Webb presentation box.
