Inlaid Satinwood Demi Lune Card Table

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine quality Edwardian period inlaid satinwood card table. Of demi lune, or half moon, form in the Sheraton style. Of excellent construction in satinwood and attractive satinwood veneers onto a mahogany carcas. Decorated with ebonised inlaid stringing throughout. Standing on tapering legs which terminate in spade feet fitted with their original brass castors. The half moon shaped top folds over to reveal a baize lined playing surface. Whilst in the open position the top is supported by the pull-out rear leg. Offered for sale in excellent condition, with a great colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
