Georgian Mahogany Pembroke Work Table. Circa 1820

18th century
Description

Fine Scottish late Georgian highly figured mahogany drop flap pembroke work table with rosewood cross-banded top and standing on finely turned legs fitted with brass socket casters. Fitted with ash lined frieze drawer with pull out sewing bag below. Dummy drawer to back. All in fine un-touched original condition with no repairs. Wonderful rich colour with great waxed patina.

Size; top 37" x 21" open, 21" x 21" closed. 31" high.
