George I Lacquer Standing Corner Cabinet. Circa 1725

Description

Rare George I black lacquer standing corner cabinet with arched doors, glazed at top and paneled below enclosing shaped fixed shelves within. The original lacquer, slightly worn in places with very minor touching up on edges. The later Georgian bracket feet replacing original bun feet, otherwise in fine original condition with original pine back. A very fine example of a rare item.

Size; 75" high, 29" back corner to side.
