Antique Mahogany Linen Press

19th century
Description

Antique mahogany linen press

We are pleased to offer you this Antique mahogany linen press.

This linen press was made circa 1830.

The cabinet maker would have spent time choosing the fine flame mahogany to use on the panel doors.

The panelled doors open to reveal the linen slides. Quite often people take the slides out and store them, and then fit a hanging rail to the interior to make it a useful hanging wardrobe.

This lovely piece of late Georgian furniture, splits into 3 pieces for ease of transportation into and around your home. The cornice lifts off and the top section comes away from the base.

The base section consists of a pair of drawers above 2 graduated full width drawers.

Not only is this linen press fantastic to look at, it also is 100% practical with no wasted space. Imagine how much you can fit into it, these are amazing space savers.

This linen press is unique to us and as it has been selected for our stock you have the Hingstons Antiques brand guarantee.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.
