Superb quality antique victorian mahogany scotch chest of drawers c1860

This is a lovely quality antique victorian scotch chest of drawers and dating from aorund 1860. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a flat edge to the top with a long mahogany frieze drawer which is moulded to the front. This is above a very deep blanket drawer over three long drawers all of which are mahogany lined with original beautifully turned quality mahogany knob handles. To each side and to the top and bottom there is a carved corbal support. It stands on a deep plinth base on turned mahogany bun feet.

This is a superb quality antique victorian mahogany chest and in very good condition with a lovely colour and deep original patination to the mahogany and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase. The top has a joint line to the back which is not unusual and in no way detracts from this lovely chest
