A Regency Silvered Brass Urn Shaped Coal Bin

Description

A most unusual early 19th Century silvered brass coal bin. The urn shaped bin is supported on three tapering legs, baluster stretchers and scrolled feet. The beautifully decorative lid is capped with a well cast finial. The condition of the coal bin is very good, there are a few marks and scratches, these are minor and as can be expected of a used item from the early 19th Century. Please see the photographs for further views of the inside and base etc. The bin is very stable with no wobbles. This very distinctive antique coal bin has all the qualities associated with the style and elegance of the Regency period and would be a wonderful addition to any interior.
