A wonderfully designed, solid silver Demitasse spoon in iconic Arts & Crafts style. This spoon is delightful and shows off the all of the principles of the Arts & Crafts Movement, with its hand planished finish. The bowl of the spoon is a charming curved triangular shape with a handle beautifully designed at the tip; bringing organic shape into the item.
The back of the spoon is fully hallmarked for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1924 and the marks for the renowned arts & crafts lady silversmith: Winifred King (who exhibited at the Royal Society of Arts).
