Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The dresser dismantles into three sections and often these pieces were designed to come apart so they could be easily be transported to summerhouses in the hills. One of the brass hinges is stamped with a depiction of the young Queen Victoria as she appears on an Indian rupee from circa 1860s-1870s, with the word “Bombay” instead of Victoria. To the back of the piece are old paper labels, one from the shipping company White and Co ltd. A beautiful and unique piece that would be a statement in any room.

Condition Report:
Good condition. Nice patination to the wood. General wear and marks commensurate with age. An old mend to the bottom of the door. An old mend to the side of top pelmet. A few small splits to the panelled doors. Comes with a key but doesn’t lock.
