Description

A fine Chinese porcelain teapot and cover, c. 1700, Kangxi Period. Painted in famille verte enamels, with scenes of birds and insects amongst flowering plants, beneath panels of fish. The cover similarly decorated.

Height - 15.3 cm, 6”.

Length - 20.5 cm, 8 1/8”.

Condition - Frit to tip of spout. Firing fault to rim, with associated crack running to the spouts junction with the body. No restoration.
