A wonderful antique English solid silver sovereign case, beautifully decorated with engine turning and a very English engraved belt and buckle motif.

The little button below the ring is pressed to release the lid. The interior is where the full English hallmark can be found for Birmingham 1912 together with the makers mark for A L Davenport Ltd.

Superb condition measuring 1 7/8" x 1 1/4" x 1/2" thick.
