A good late victorian 12 drawer mahogany collectors cabinet by messrs watkins & doncaster circa 1890. One time property of the late p.w.cribb, an emminent and well liked and respected entomologist. (1920-1993).

This classic w&d cabinet is typical of it's type in good condition and ready to use. All the drawers are base lined with cork and papered over. The cabinet is equipped with the original set of hidden casters retained in the plinth.

This size and type of collectors cabinet will compliment any decor and fit into a relatively small space. For those requiring more of the same we always have one or two of these popular cabinets in stock. This cabinet has been originally supplied by watkins and doncaster of the strand, london and then has passed through their hands again supplied through the intermediate address in welling, kent.

The cabinet carries a provenance plate to the last owner and the w&d plate to the door.
