Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1930s.

This one has to be one of the best we have had of it's type, a large 1 1/2 pint capacity and retailed by Thomas Goode in Mayfair, still in operation. Established in 1827, Thomas Goode & Co. is a London institution, long recognised as a byword for opulent luxury and exquisite craftsmanship.

The shaker was made by the well renowned silversmith, James Dixon and Sons, a top-notch manufacturer and a top-notch retailer.
Dating to the Art Deco era, c.1930 it remains in excellent condition measuring 4 1/4" in diameter x 8 3/4" tall.
