Description

A mid-size 9ct gold Helvetia wrist watch, 1950.

The watch has a signed 17-jewel movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 27.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 27.5mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 9ct gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1950. The case is in good condition, just light surface marking but nothing serious. Originally the case back would have been hinged but now it is just clip on, but it is very secure.

The lens has a couple of small marks but you have to look quite closely to see them.

The signed dial is in good original condition with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
