Camden Antiques has dated this piece to the 1870s.
Four turned columns support the raised shelf. A triple panel magazine section sits below, encompassed by bobbin turned dividers with a drawer below, constructed from mahogany drawer lining and hand dovetail joints and further inlaid decoration to the front. The magazine section is ideal for storing newspapers, magazines or even sheet music. The Canterbury is raised on fine baluster turned legs, which retain the original brass and black ceramic castors. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, ready to go straight into the home.
