Antique Furniture Direct has dated this piece to the 1930s.
In a beautifully figured mellow light coloured burr walnut, it stands on a plinth base with shaped feet legs and has brass handles. The cupboard door locks and comes with working key. It has a label to the interior: “Inglesants Furnishers of Leicester Since 1872”.

Good condition. Nice patination to the wood. A few small chips to veneer in places. General wear and marks commensurate with age.
