A handsome and most unusual magnifying glass in a winning and highly sought-after combination of English sterling silver and Shagreen. The Shagreen is a most unusual pink/red colour, most attractive.

The ferrule frame and terminal are all sterling silver hallmarked for London 1929, Art Deco in era. The glass lens is the original with a good usable magnification (a few surface scratches, mentioned purely for accuracy). The makers initials are also present E A J.

A real gem in excellent condition measuring 6 1/2" in length x 2 7/8" wide x 5/8" thick; the lens having a diameter measuring 2 5/8".
