An old pine square box that has recently been polished to a very high standard. The chest itself is old, we think it dates from the turn of the century, however the lid has been made a little later. It is English and has a lovely warm richness to it with lots of character..

There are carrying handles on each side and large hinges and braces on the underside of the lid, making it nice and strong for sitting on.

This box would make a good shoe store in a boot room / hall way or as a toy box or linen box.
